T-Ball Local Rules

SLLL Tee Ball Division Ground Rules

 

The Current Little League Baseball Official Regulations and Playing Rules shall govern the “Playing Rules” for the Tball Division.

1.     Time limit: 4 innings or 60 minutes, whichever comes first. If 60 minutes is reached first, the inning must be completed.

2.     There must be a coach or team parent in the dugout when there are player(s) in the dugout.

3.     Home team responsibilities:

a. Supply game ball.

b. Keep scorebook. Home team scorebook is official.

4.     Away team responsibilities:

a. Provide scoreboard operator. Score will be kept.

b. Provide concession volunteer.

5.     Side is retired when,

a. The offensive team has batted entire roster once, or

b. Three (3) outs are made, or

c. Maximum runs allowed per inning is reached.

                           i. Three (3) run maximum for innings 1 & 2.

                           ii. Five (5) run maximum for innings 3 & 4

6.     All Players are allowed to be on the field when on defense.

a.     Infielders must play at normal positions and the remaining players are to be spread throughout the outfield.

              b. No catchers

c. Infielder & outfield positions are to be rotated after each inning, this included pitcher & 1st basemen. Every player must play at least one inning in the infield.

7.   No on-deck batters.

8.  No headfirst slides when advancing.

9. Teams may have coaches in the outfield with players, but coaches should not interfere with the ball.

10.  A batted ball must reach the grass line to be considered a fair ball.

11.  When an out occurs, the player must leave the base and play will continue with the next batter.

12.  If batter does not put ball in play by the fifth swing at the tee, batter is called out.

13.  Ball hit is limited to a single base.

14.  Not Allowed:

a. Bunting

b. Stealing

c. Protests

d. Forfeits
